In 1967, John K. Max founded a urethane processing equipment company. A critical component in the design, a precision flow meter, was developed for high accuracy over an exceptionally wide range. That instrument became our legacy.

The family continues to drive innovation today — Max Machinery precision Piston, Gear, and Helical flow meters deliver high-accuracy readings from 0.005 cc/min to 500 L/min. Aerospace, automotive, chemical, and fluid power markets rely on our performance to improve the quality of their products.

Max Machinery, Inc. designs, manufactures, calibrates, and refurbishes high-accuracy, high-resolution precision liquid flow meters under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. We test and calibrate 100% of our meters in our own lab and provide measurements traceable to NIST. We partner with Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. to excel in our continual-improvement efforts.
